Ứng dụng có thể điều khiển trình chơi nhạc và đồng bộ iTunes từ mọi nơi ở trong nhà thông qua Wifi và được download miễn phí thông qua App Store. Đồng thời Apple cũng giới thiệu phiên bản pre-release(beta) của iTunes 7.7 đến với các nhà phát triển, firmware 2.0 cho iPhone và iPhone SDK(Software Developer’s Kit) beta 8.
